Turkey… we’ve been here so long, it’s starting to feel like home.
Georgia’s wide open spaces made it easier to camp. But the early fall weather brought different challenges as we tried to shelter ourselves from cold, foggy and rainy nights.
Again, like in many other countries, our best nights were the ones where we stayed with locals.
Azerbaijan was good to us, for the most part.
Sleeping in Iran proved to be less of a challenge than many other countries we walked.
As much as we have been walking these last 15 months, the sleeping thing remains a daily challenge.
India, like the other countries we have walked, forced us to think creatively about where we safely placed our heads for the night.
